Have you ever wondered why, sometimes, you just feel fed up, disconnected and unable to really achieve anything? Everything seems like a struggle and you just can’t seem to break out of it. Well maybe some insights from Mihály Csíkszentmihályi will help shed some light on your apathy.

One of the most powerful approaches is to use the Challenge vs Skills dimensions as discussed by Mihály Csíkszentmihályi in his ground breaking book Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience. This chart identifies the components and can be used as a practical exercise to get you clearer on when, how and why you excel where you do.
