I was not happy with my weight or my diabetes management.To be honest, I had resigned myself to just trying to manage my blood sugars by giving myself increasing amounts of insulin. The only thing I knew to do to stop gaining weight was to eat no carbs and walk a lot. Living Belgium with the wonderful breads and awful weather made those two strategies fail.Paul's positive attitude and gentle demeanor put me at ease immediately. He never criticized or shamed me for any of my choices, but always offered suggestions for little improvements. He is brilliant

I needed to lose weight, as eight I was carrying was detrimental to my joints and just plain ugly. I could not afford to buy more clothes to keep up with the very increasing bulge.The biggest achievement which implementing a few approach to the foods and portions I select for meals. This has resulted in finding new foods I have not used before, and combining them with other foods creating new recipes, which has been great fun. I have also lost over 24 pounds in three months.Paul is an expert and excels in the advice and guidance he provides to you. He has a lovely sense of humour which is important when you have those moments when your reach rock bottom and begin to lose motivation, which he does not allow you to countenance. Paul is always on your case in the nicest possible way, a real good cop (though I do appreciate a little bad cop at times). The regime of photographing your meals is a great way of allowing your to reflect on consumption and complexion of food, with his immediate feedback.He is brilliant, like the sun.

Paul is the easiest guy you will ever work with

As a single guy living alone there was no one to talk through the battle of loosing weight and to celebrate the achievements with. In the early days of “withdrawals” Paul was there on a daily basis cheering me on. He was also a shoulder to cry on when the weeks were tough or the results not visible. He is such a cheery little chappie!!!!When I came to Paul in March it was because I had arrived at my highest weight ever....17 Stone . My goal was to remove 3 stone in 9 months ie. be 14 stone for Christmas. Paul has taught me that you don’t need to diet to do this just retrain your brain and pallet .It has amazed me how I have gone from a Cookie Monster and pasta fiend to almost zero carbs without really trying. I had decided to divide my journey in 3. Three months on a one to one with Paul, 4 months seeing if I could fly solo and then Paul holding my hand through the cold dark days of winter whilst I eyed up steamed pudding and custard or warm apple pie and cream.I had hoped to lose a stone on each of the stages. I am thrilled to say that after stage one I have lost 1 stone and 8 lbs not to mention 3” off my Covid gut!!!!!Paul is the easiest guy you will ever work with. His knowledge of all things nutritional is excellent. He makes the journey great fun. And when you’re down in the gutter beating yourself up , he gives you big cyber hugs, dusts you down and gets you going again.
