Eat that FROG!
If you haven't yet read Eat That Frog! By Brian Tracy, I highly recommend it.
However it's fairly easy to summarise the concept of the book in one sentence.
Each morning, look at your to-do list and do the one thing that fills you with dread the most.
Or as Brian would say the ugliest frog!
But I suggest you add another step to this beautifully simple productivity plan. Just tackle one leg of the frog first. Think about it this way, often the reason why we procrastinate is because the task at hand fills us with unpleasant emotions. Dread, fear, lethargy and oh so many more. The reason is often, that we are trying to do too much in one sitting. So instead, look at your "ugly frog" and dissect it. Then do just one part. In true little steps style!
For example, if you want to write a book, writing the first page will get you going, but it doesn't have to be the first page of your book, it can be ANY page.
You want to get fit, don't promise to go to the gym 3-4 times a week, just go today for 20 or even just 10 minutes!
Failure is only when you don't do anything at all, but if you just do a little, you're already 100% better off.
